Fed up of the expense of running a car? Don't fancy being crammed up with a bunch of smelly strangers on public transport? Want to do your bit for the good of the planet? Then maybe it's time to get on yer bike!
Now I have a confession, or actually two confessions to make. First of all, since passing my driving test a number of years ago I've never driven, and secondly I never learned to ride a bike without stabilizers. I know, I know - don't laugh! I'm determined things are going to change this year... and a very pretty electric bike might just be the way forward.
Pretty Ballerinas, yes the brand behind our favourite ballet pumps, have teamed up with eco-transport specialist Yamimoto to design a limited edition electric bike so you can get around the Pretty way.
Available from the Pretty Ballerinas website for £1264, the chic pink and black bike can reach speeds of 18mph and has a 50 mile range. Don't forget to buy a pair of matching ballet pumps too!
Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping

Pretty Ballerinas Save the Day
Let's be honest, it's happened to us all - but luckily not all of us get papped when our heels get stuck in pavement cracks and snap off.
Theresa May certainly loves her cute kitten heels but it might be a bright idea to keep some practical pumps tucked away in her handbag...

In time for Fashion Week, Pretty Ballerinas have launched a new range of their ever popular pumps which come in a handy carry case - perfect for a quick change of footwear for the dash between shows.

Happy Birthday Kate!
The Duchess of Cambridge celebrates her 30th birthday today!

Last night the Duchess passed her last evening as a twenty-something in style at the London premiere of War Horse.
The royal couple braved the rain to walk the red carpet and Kate looked beautiful in a black lace gown by Temperley, accessorized to perfection with Mascaro court shoes and clutch bag.
Kate's a big fan of the Menorcan brand, having already been spotted wearing her Mascaro black suede courts on Christmas Day. You might also remember that we've already seen the Pretty Ballerinas bow clutch bag before (at The Military Awards last month), but they're still well worth a mention.
Founded in 1918 as a small ballet slipper workshop, Mascaro first expanded into designer shoes in the '50s. With Pretty Ballerinas now amongst their trademarks, Mascaro make shoes preferred by celebrities, and now royalty, the world over.
Blending design and craftsmanship, you'll find a shoe that fits for every occasion at the Marylebone High Street store.
