Battle of the Biker Jackets: Baby Pink v Powder Blue

Spring has sprung and the winter coats can finally be packed away - but which of the new season's must-have jackets will be winging its way into your wardrobe for you to wear instead? For me, the front runner has to be a pastel coloured biker jacket. My black leather biker is a perennial favourite, but I might just be tempted to trade it for pretty pastel version this spring. Spot the Difference: Bambi Sweaters

It's the season's must-have sweater that's been seen on anyone who's anyone in the fashion world. That's everyone from Alexa Chung and Amanda Seyfried to Lily Collins and Anna Dello Russo. Carine Roitfeld even paraded her jumper amidst the glitz and glamour of the Met Gala - yes we're talking about the Givenchy Bambi sweater! By merging an image of the iconic Disney deer with a female figure, the sweater manages to come across as cute and edgy at the same time and even with a £600 price tag the jumpers and matching t-shirts have been selling out fast - but there is a bargain version out there waiting to be snapped up by savvy shoppers...

When I first saw the Primark version in a magazine I completely mistook it for the Givenchy - and couldn't believe my eyes at the £10 price tag.

Addams Family Value

We're hurtling towards Halloween faster than a witch on a rocket-powered broomstick, so better stock up on sweets and start planning a suitably scary costume. I'll confess when I saw this contrast collar blouse for £10 at Primark my first thought was how very Victoria Beckham - but now looking at it puts me more in mind of Wednesday Addams.

What? Wednesday's still a style icon - and she had that pout perfected long before Posh came along! For the easiest (and cheapest) costume ever all I'll have to do is plait my hair, crack open the white face paint and wear this blouse with a black skirt. There's just one problem - my Nephew thinks this blouse makes me look like a nun and bursts out in uncontrollable laughter every time he sees me wear it, whilst my Nan says I look more like a strict school ma'am. Charming! You can always rely on family for a good insult. I'll start working on my unamused scowl...

Primark A/W '13

After popping into Primark today I have to say their new A/W collection looks like their best yet. Whether it's pink coats, plaid shirts or leather-look skirts, they've got all the key trends covered. The first thing I bought was this monochrome jumper for £14. What a bargain!

Spot the Difference...

One of these studded skull ring clutch bags is by Alexander McQueen, and costs well over £1000. The other is by Religion, and is available from Topshop for just £75!

Costing £327, a pair of seriously chic sparkly brogues by Robert Clergerie are only for the well heeled. Luckily Primark have a similar pair for just £12!

If you've been playing along, you've probably guessed that the high street versions are on the left. I'm not trying to pretend that high street copies are exactly the same as their designer counterparts. Designer items have designer price tags because of the attention to detail, the quality of the materials and level of craftsmanship involved - but look-a-like bargains like these are great for a girl on a budget!

Bargain Brights

You only had to see the riot of colour at Gucci to know that colour blocked brights would be big news this season. Who'd have thought that orange, purple and green would be such a winning combination?

Rather than screaming for attention, these colours compliment each other and somehow increase in vibrancy when worn together.

There is no denying that it really is a bold look, but the clean lines of a sophisticated silhouette keep the look on the right side of elegant.

However, if colour blocking your whole outfit just seems too much, why not go all out with your accessories?
